Hi Team,
Please help me answer the follow question from my customer, thank you so much.
The desired specification of AD is about
1.12bit (or 10bit is also acceptable) and the speed is about 2ksps. Communication with the microcontroller is I2C.
2. Since the signal is AC, it can be differential input.
3. The specific signal is about ± 1V AC voltage from the CT sensor (current), but I want 16 channels. It is OK even with multiple ICs. All 16 channels are CT sensors, so each one is isolated.
4. I think that I could use the ADS7828, so I bought the evaluation board. I think that it can not convert negatives such as -1V input. If so, I would like to introduce another AD.
By the way, I was able to do it using Microchip's MCP3424, but because it is slow, I am looking for an early one. So I thought it was your company's ADS7828, but I’m not sure if it can convert negative voltage. Simply put, I want something that has a fast AD conversion speed for MCP3424.
