Part Number:DAC37J84

Hello team,

My customer asks why there are typical values for "6.8 Timing Requirements" section in DAC37J84 datasheet. Is there any reason? How should the customer deal with those?

Thanks,

Part Number:ADS1298

Hi,

I have been developing software on a ADS1298RECG-FE PDK so far. However, since it is only available in a BGA package, I am trying to evaluate the possibility of using ADS1298 with external circuitry - I found this mentioned on the datasheet of ADS1298; that it is possible to interface respiration by means of external circuitry. Will appreciate leads on how this can be done.
Thanks.

ADS8555: ADS8555 HVDD and HVSS settings

Part Number:ADS8555

Hello,

could you please let me know the correct value for ADS8555 supply voltages HVDD and HVSS.

If I use the internal VREF (2.5V) with input range of +/- 2*VREF, can I use supply voltages 5V +/- 5%

and -5V +/- 5%, considering tht the real input value range is +-4V?

If I use an external reference, for example 1.5V, with input range of +/- 2*VREF, can I use supply voltages

of +/-3V?

Thanks.

Marco

Part Number:ADC12DJ5200RFEVM

Hello team,

With the design files provided by ADC12DJ5200RF package, there only two * .ini files that are needed for the HSDC Pro SW.

The ini files correspond to the JMODE1 and JMODE3 modes of operation which according to the ADC datasheet are modes that bypass the DDC.

  • Can you share the configuration files for the other JMODEs that also use DDC?

Thanks,

ADS1299: Connecting 6 ADS1299s to a MSP432P401R Launchpad with SPI

Part Number:ADS1299

I am working on a project where I need to measure the voltages of 48 batteries continuously for about 3-4 minutes for a project. I plan on using 6 ADS1299s to measure the 48 batteries with differential inputs since the batteries are connected 8 parallel columns with 6 series batteries on each column. I am looking to read the batteries at a rate of at least 2 samples per second. I have some experience in working with an MSP432 and coding it so I set the registers and pins in the correct manner, but I was wondering if anyone can first confirm my idea will and if so, give me a rough idea of what I need accomplish coding-wise. Any help would be much appreciated as this project is a little out of my depth.

430BOOST-ADS1118: Compatibility and stackability with Launchpad MSP-EXP430G2ET

Part Number:430BOOST-ADS1118

1. The online documentation states that this is compatible with MSP430G2 Launchpad, however that part shows as OBSOLETE. Is this BOOST board compatible with MSP-EXP430G2ET ?

2. Are these BOOST boards designed to be stacked on a single Launchpad Board or do I need a Launchpad board for each BOOST? For example, I need 2 thermocouples.

ADC08D1020: Q Channel Inconsistencies

Part Number:ADC08D1020

With the latest lot of these ADC's I am seeing Q-channel oddities if a calibration is performed after device usage/warm-up.  If the device is power on from ambient storage the power-on cal is run and subsequently an on-demand calibration is run during clock initialization (within 30 second of UUT power up) and performance is expected. If the UUT is power cycled, and the same startup and on-demand calibration occurs there is extreme amplitude variation on the Q-channel only (I-channel remains stable).  If power is removed for extended period of time, and restarted then performance is stable again on the Q channel. This has been isolated to devices with lot code 8CZF9F4G3 and cannot be reproduced with devices of lot code 6AZCCH7G3.

ADS1298: Reading 0x800000

Part Number:ADS1298

Hello,
I am trying to read the values when i set the internal Test Signal; however I am getting a lot of 0x800000 values. I don't know how to interpret this or correct it.
I think the power up timing is correct since I am able to read the ID of the device correctly.
Some important information:
1- I am using the internal clock;
2- I am reading the values at the falling edge of the DRDY and I most frequently get 0.00 V, and verry few readings I get 67mV, nothing close to a squared wave like expected (I have tried at the rising edge despite the non agreement with the datasheet and the values I get are always 67mV)
3- The SPI communication is in Mode_1; and speed 3.9MHz
4- My start pin is connected to AGND; Reset to DVDD through a 10K;
5- DVDD = 1.8; AVDD = 3.3V
After reading the ID I do this code and then read values from the interface whenever there is a falling edge of the DRDY pin.
spi.write([SDATAC])
# Channels input Short
received = spi.transfer([WREG, CONFIG2, 0x00, 0x10])
# # received = spi.transferREG("WREG CONFIG2 0x10")
time.sleep(0.5)
received = spi.transfer([WREG, CHnSET, 0x00, 0x05])
time.sleep(0.5)
spi.write([RDATAC])
time.sleep(0.5)

Hello

My customer have some questions about ADS1018,

1.Cann't find address of Conversion Register and Config Register , so how to change Config Register or ready data from Conversion ?

2.Under  ADC mode, My customer write Config Register refer to "8.5.7.1 32-Bit Data Transmission Cycle " , but nothing read

3.Transfer to Temperature Sense Mode, also cann't read data

Is there reference code could be provided ? or it have some indispensable setting to make it work normal ? or time sequence ? or initialization

attached is customer's code

ADC0804-N: Can't find an ADC with free-running feature as in ADC0804

Part Number:ADC0804-N

Hello,

actually, the question is not exactly about the ADC0804 but rather about finding an ADC that fits my design and has a certain feature like this ADC. The feature is the free-running option (like implemented on page 42 in the datasheet).

To be more specific I'll tell exactly what I am looking for and couldn't find.

I need an SMT ADC, I don't need more than 1 channel (I don't care if it has more, I just won't use them). I need the output will be one serial port (unlike ADC0804 that is parallel) and I want it to be small as possible (I'd like to find around 10 mm^2 but if there isn't one so I'd like to find the smallest possible component).

I hope someone can help me. I'm really stuck.

P.S.: If someone has an idea of how to externally add a feature like this to any ADC with SPI interface, for example, I'll be glad to hear.

Hi Sirs,

When using multiple ADS1299 devices for 16 channels EEG measurement, how can we handle the bias circuit? Should we share one reference electrode and one bias electrode for multiple ADS1299 devices? Would you please provide reference schematic in this case?

Thank you and Best regards,

Hi,

I'm dealing with this ADC, and I'm using STM32 MCU as the hist CPU, my problem is that I could not configure the Device so I could connect and read registers or converted data from this ADC, So I want to know is there any C code available so I could study it and port it to STM32.

DAC70508EVM: Questions for DAC70508 VDD/VIO Power Supply Issue

Part Number:DAC70508EVM

Hi Experts,

Our customer is evaluating DAC70508 EVM, and found a strange issue when VDD/VIO used the same 3.3V power supply, it can not change REF DIV and Output Gain registers correctly, but if used the separated voltage like VDD=5V, VIO=3.3V, it can work normally. Do we have any special requirements for VDD and VIO for this device?

Thanks a lot!

Part Number:LM98555

Dear All,

For One of the application I want to use this IC to generate signal between +3.3V and Ground to converted to +1V to 5V  or +2V to 5V.

So question is Will this IC generate this wave form of +5V to +1V by connecting it to +1V/+2V at GNDO pin of driver?

Thanks in advance

Abhishek

Hello support team,

I have a question regarding LMP92066.

Our customer might use this IC under low temperature and reduced pressure environment.
Although recommended operating condition for ambient temperature is specified in datasheet, are there any recommended operating condition for barometric pressure as an IC?
If you have such data, please let us know.

The conditions assumed by the customer are as follows.
Balometric pressure: about 500 hPa
Temperature: -20 ° C (minimum)

Sincerely,
M. Tachibana
